Voices Unlocked does not accept pieces written by AI. AI use is limited exclusively to brainstorming and spelling. Any piece which violates our AI policy will not be published.

Middle schoolers of any age (6th-8th graders) are invited to submit!

Any original poem, rap, or prose (short story, descriptive) under 500 words. Submissions cannot include art or photography.

Submitting is an easy process. Gaining recognition for your work is fun and exciting!

You may receive an email regarding the most recent Voices Unlocked issue. If you do not receive an email, you can check our website after the publication date in the google form.

Voices Unlocked aims to protect the privacy of student contributors. Voices Unlocked does not request or collect any medical documentation or official school records. Pieces will not be attributed with the author's full name. Submissions requested to not include personally identifiable information.
